Implementation:

MEGA is the largest project of the IKEA Centres Russia group of companies. According to data for 2017, fourteen shopping centers were opened in eleven regions of Russia.

In April 2017, a metal crane in the food court zone was erected inside the Mega shopping center in Yekaterinburg with a mini crane Jekko SPD360.

To accomplish this task, small-sized equipment was required, capable of operating in extremely cramped conditions, moving along delicate surfaces and operating from a 220 V network.

Therefore, it was decided to use the mini-crane Jekko SPD360.

The main advantages of the mini-crane are:

• small overall dimensions

•          a light weight

• battery operation

• A chassis that allows you to move around complex surfaces without damaging it.

The precise operation of the mini-crane and the well-coordinated work of the Hermes metal-working company enabled the installation of metal structures inside the Mega shopping center in the shortest possible time.
